Coming Through Slaughter: Close Reading II

"Right on my head. But i still have the razor and we stand looking at each other. The blood drooling of his chin on to the wet shredded shirt. He takes a quick look at himself in the mirror and the tears just rush out of his face. I am exhausted, sorry for him. Got no anger at him now. I'm finished i'm empty but i cant tell him. What the hell is wrong with me? And Picket's face is hard waiting to come for me, looking around the room."(73)

The first sentence shows us how Buddy is determined, he has a sharp object in his hand and doesn't seem scared of using it. He faces facts as they come. He is fighting with his friend and while fixing his beard cuts him. Buddy shows us an aggressive side, and at the same time a weak one. He seems impulsive, some things trigger attacks and its hard for him to control himself.
